The Home Care 4 Seniors in-home care management team is based in Lewisville, Texas. We have over 50 caretakers based throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex caring for clients living in Carrollton, Coppell, Dallas, Flower Mound, Frisco, Grapevine, Lewisville, McKinney, Mid-Cities, Plano, Richardson, Southlake, and other neighboring cities.
Because many of our clients require around-the-clock care, we are always on-call! We guarantee that an administrative staff member can be reached 24 hours a day, seven days a week (24/7). In non-emergency situations, we invite you to call (214) 621-1969 or email us regarding any issues.

Responsibilities For In-Home Caregiver
We are always looking around the DFW area for in-home caregivers who are compassionate, self-motivated, and patient caregivers/Certified Nursing Assistants with a cheerful attitude who would share our commitment to safety and well-being.
The ideal candidate would maintain open communication with the family while talking and encouraging residents to communicate to help improve cognitively. The candidate would utilize basic knowledge of communication techniques, infection control, safety, body mechanics, and age-related differences when providing care.
Caregiver Duties:

Assists seniors with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring

Serves meals to seniors and may assist in preparing meals

Encourages seniors to eat and take adequate fluids; records and reports changes in resident's eating habits to the supervisor

Maintains records and reports in a timely manner (documents medication distribution as applicable, incidents, and observations, changes in the physical condition and/or behavior, health, and emotional condition)

Assists with medication as defined in medication procedure; assists or supervises seniors who self-administer the medication; follow physician orders and state laws to administer medications to residents who cannot self-administer their medication

Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment; performs general housekeeping, and follows cleaning schedule

Follows proper procedures in emergency situations and responds promptly and positively to seniors requests for assistance
Qualifications For In-Home Caregiver

At least 1 Year of CNA or caregiving experience

CPR training or certification (preferred)

Experience with Gait Belt and Hoyer Lift (preferred)

Experience with a feeding tube and gastro tube (preferred)

Experience with bowel and bladder program (preferred)

Has reliable transportation and is able to maintain an acceptable attendance record (being punctual for scheduled shifts)

Adhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentiality

Ability/willingness to perform all responsibilities adequately

Ability/willingness to submit to a comprehensive background check and drug test
